Waiting Room to Upper Room

God doesn’t own a watch, still He is never too late or never too early

Dr. Larry Dossey, a Dallas internist, coined a new term called - “Hurry Sickness,” which he defines as “an increased sensitivity to the passage of time.”

Silence around is the right atmosphere for a personal and intimate encounter with Jesus.

Go… But First, Wait

Acts 1:4
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for
the gift my Father promised, which
you have heard me speak about.”

LUKE 24:49
“I AM GOING TO SEND YOU WHAT
MY FATHER HAS PROMISED; BUT
STAY IN THE CITY UNTIL YOU HAVE
BEEN CLOTHED WITH POWER FROM
ON HIGH.”

While we are waiting, God is working

YOU CAN BE
STILL BECAUSE
HE IS ACTIVE,
AND YOU CAN
REST BECAUSE
HE IS BUSY

WAITING ON GOD
REQUIRES US TO PUT
ASIDE OUR WAY OF
DOING THINGS AND
TRUST HIS TIMING
AND PLAN.

promise waiting
you, do not quit

“Wait until something
happens”

We cannot go; we cannot
accomplish anything; we cannot
rightly witness – if God doesn’t
show up, empower us, and do what
only God can do.
